Margaret Enadeghe, MD, FACOG, MSCP, DABOM

BOARD CERTIFIED IN OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY AND OBESITY MEDICINE. Menopause society certified physician.
Founder & medical director, the womn clinic

Hi! I’m Margaret Enadeghe, welcome to The WoMn Clinic. I decided to open my own clinic to cut through all the barriers between my patients and myself. I enjoyed a successful practice in Edina, MN serving many wonderful women for the past seven years. I have been practicing for over 10 years. My interest in Menopause and Metabolic Health was not able to be fully practiced within the confines of corporate Medicine. The idea of opening my own practice was encouraged by my patients themselves. I have created a space where the goal is to help you flourish and address your concerns. In this space I have more freedom to tailor treatments to your needs. In this space I can give you the time you need.

I was born in Gdansk, Poland and grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and in the Chicago Suburbs. I moved to Minnesota 9 years ago. Since then I met my husband and we have been blessed with our two daughters. My struggles with my own metabolic health drove me to become the doctor that I needed. Balancing work, parenting and health is no small feat. Oftentimes as women, we tend to the needs of others before ourselves. This is your space to tend to your own health. I look forward to partnering with you on this journey.

The Story Behind The Womn Clinic

This is a place where women can receive holistic, evidence-based, and compassionate care without barriers.

After having my children, I struggled with my metabolic health due to PCOS and worked hard to find balance, and through that journey I became the doctor that I needed. Women go through significant life changes that can alter metabolic health, and in my employed practice I often could not fit patients into my schedule consistently to provide the care they deserved, even though I still had meaningful relationships with them. I believe we need to preserve the ability to care for patients without the interference of third parties.

My grandmother was a midwife who exposed me early to the health issues that affect women, and as I grew older I developed an interest in reproductive health that led me to pursue medicine after shadowing an Ob/Gyn in New York during college.

Treating obesity is personal for me, as I have also worked to balance the demands of my profession, motherhood, and my health. I set out to learn more about Obesity Medicine for my patients but also for myself, and when I began practicing over 10 years ago I quickly realized the gap in my training on menopause. Since then, I have spent years learning about menopausal hormone therapy and the metabolic impact of menopause so that I can better care for women during this stage of life.

These experiences shaped my vision for The WoMn Clinic, a place where women can receive holistic, evidence-based, and compassionate care without barriers, with the time and attention they deserve at every stage of life.
