This Is Not a Willpower Problem.

Diet and exercise advice that ignores your hormones was never going to work.

You've probably already tried eating less and moving more, with nothing to show for it. That's not a willpower failure. I find out what's actually driving the resistance, then treat it.

It's Not About Effort

Why Nothing Changes When You
Eat Less and Move More.

Hormonal shifts, insulin resistance, thyroid dysfunction, and the metabolic changes of perimenopause all change how your body stores and burns fat. That is why eating less and moving more stops working, even when nothing else about your effort has changed. I know this firsthand, through my own metabolic health challenges after having children. The cravings that feel physiological, the midsection shift that appeared without warning, the number on the scale that won't move no matter what you try. None of it is a failure of willpower. It is your body asking for a different kind of attention.

What's Actually Happening

Six Signs This Is
Metabolic, Not Discipline.

Resistant Weight Gain

Weight that appeared with perimenopause and won't respond to what used to work, even with the same habits and the same effort.

A Metabolism That Feels Broken

Eating less, moving more, and nothing changes. That pattern is physiological, not a sign you're doing it wrong.

Fatigue That Blocks Exercise

Tiredness that makes movement feel impossible, not just difficult. This is a metabolic signal, not a motivation problem.

Blood Sugar Swings

Blood sugar issues, insulin resistance, or pre-diabetes that show up on labs but get little real explanation or plan.

Rising Cardiovascular Risk

Cardiovascular risk factors that have crept up over the last few years, often noticed but not addressed until they're urgent.

Body Composition Changes

More fat and less muscle even at the same weight on the scale. The number stays the same while what's underneath it shifts.

My Approach

A Scale Doesn't Tell
the Whole Story.

Metabolic health and hormones are treated together because they are connected. Testing includes body composition analysis with InBody, not just a number on a scale, alongside metabolic panels and a full hormonal workup.

What the first visit looks like: Your first visit, the Reveal consultation, runs sixty to ninety minutes and starts with a 60+ biomarker serum lab panel that gives us a real picture of where your metabolism and hormones actually stand, not a quick weigh-in. When we meet in person, I also run a body composition scan. From there, we build a treatment plan together, which may include GLP-1 where appropriate, nutrition planning, and a lifestyle strategy with maintenance built in.
